1. INTRODUCTION & ACCEPTANCE
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User/Student/Parent/Guardian") and Exa Knowva Private Limited ("Exa Knowva," "we," "us," "our"). By accessing, registering, or using any service on the Exa Knowva Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not accept any portion, you must immediately discontinue use.
2. ELIGIBILITY & AGE POLICY
2.1. The Platform is designed exclusively for users aged 13 years and above.
2.2. Users below 13 years are strictly prohibited from registering. If discovered, their data will be automatically deleted within 15 days.
2.3. Users aged 13–15 years must obtain verified parental or guardian consent before enrollment.
2.4. All users must provide accurate and verifiable information. Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension, disqualification, or legal action.
3. ENROLLMENT & REGISTRATION
3.1. Previous year question papers are provided free of cost without advertisements or hidden charges.
3.2. Participation in live or paid tests requires successful enrollment before the published deadline.
3.3. A nominal fee (₹59 / ₹69 / ₹99 inclusive of applicable taxes) applies to selected test categories for platform maintenance, system security, identity verification, and scholarship processing.
3.4. Late registrations are not accepted after deadline closure.
3.5. Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
4. TEST GUIDELINES & ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
4.1. Tests must be attempted strictly within the scheduled time window.
4.2. Excessive tab switching, browser minimization, or use of unauthorized software may trigger auto-submission or disqualification.
4.3. Screen recording, screenshots, AI tools, or any external assistance during tests is strictly prohibited.
4.4. For proctored tests, the camera and microphone must remain active throughout the test duration.
4.5. Exa Knowva may employ AI-based monitoring and human proctoring to ensure academic integrity.
4.6. Any violation will result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of fees, and permanent restriction from future programs.
5. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
5.1. Automatic Refund Option After Enrollment
If a user enrolls in Exa Test or Exa Test Pro, an automatic Refund option becomes visible on the Profile Page immediately after successful enrollment. This refund option remains active for 24 hours from the time of payment.
This option is applicable in cases including but not limited to:
Double or duplicate payment
Payment completed but enrollment not confirmed
Test ID not generated or assigned
Any valid technical or system-related issue requiring refund processing
To initiate a refund within this period, the user must visit the Profile Page, scroll down to the Refund section, select the refund option, provide a single valid reason, and submit the request within 24 hours.
The Exa Knowva team will review the request within 2–3 working days. Upon verification and approval, the refund amount will be credited to the original payment source within 4–7 working days.
5.2. Refund Requests After 24 Hours and Within 3 Days
If more than 24 hours have passed but the request is submitted within 3 calendar days from the enrollment date, the user must submit a refund request through the Help Section available at the bottom of the Home Page.
The user should provide:
Transaction ID
Payment screenshot (if available)
If a screenshot is unavailable, the transaction ID must be provided
Clear subject and description stating the valid reason for refund
After submission, the team will verify the details within 2–3 working days. If the request is found valid and approved, the refund will be processed and credited to the original payment source within 4–7 working days.
5.3. Refund Requests After 3 Days
Refund requests submitted after 3 calendar days from enrollment are not eligible for full refunds due to GST and payment gateway charges already being settled.
However, refunds after 3 days may be considered only if:
The test has not yet started
A valid and verifiable reason exists
The issue involves double payment, payment without test ID, technical failure, or test submission failure due to verified network or system issues
Such refund requests must be submitted strictly through the Help Section. Approval is solely at the discretion of Exa Knowva after internal verification. Full refunds are not guaranteed after 3 days.
Users are strongly advised to submit refund requests as early as possible, preferably within 24 hours through the Profile Page, to avoid complications.
5.4. Course Refund Policy
The platform offers two types of paid courses:
PDF Courses
E-Book Courses
These courses are paid offerings and are provided free of cost only to eligible Exa Knowva toppers through valid test ID verification.
If a course is purchased and access is not granted even after successful payment, the user must submit a request via the Profile Page or Help Section along with payment proof. The refund team may request additional verification via registered email.
Refund verification may take 2–3 working days, and approved refunds are credited within 4–7 working days.
Once a course is purchased and access is provided, refunds are generally not eligible. An 80% refund is not applicable in most cases.
If a refund is still requested, the user must clearly demonstrate that the course does not match their class, syllabus, or academic requirement. In most cases, refund eligibility is deemed void after course access is granted.
6. SCHOLARSHIPS, CERTIFICATES & OFFERS
6.1. Scholarship Categories
Category A1 (Top Rankers): Only the top 10 performers across all participants qualify.
Category A2 (Score-Based): Scholarships are awarded based on internal cutoff scores determined solely by Exa Knowva and are non-negotiable.
6.2. Certificate Policy
Certificates are issued as internal performance recognition.
They are not equivalent to government or university certificates.
Certificate numbers and topper names are retained for verification purposes.
6.3. Offers & Promotions
All offers are applicable only to eligible users with valid Exa Knowva certificates.
Participation during the active offer period is mandatory.
Final eligibility decisions rest solely with Exa Knowva.
7. FEES & PAYMENT DISCLAIMER
7.1. Fees are charged strictly for platform services including maintenance, security, scoring, and scholarship administration.
7.2. Fees are not donations, guaranteed rewards, or assured scholarships.
7.3. No representative is authorized to request payment via personal communication.
7.4. Payments must be made only through official platform channels.
7.5. Exa Knowva is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized transactions.
8. TAX COMPLIANCE
8.1. Exa Knowva complies with all applicable Indian tax laws.
8.2. All fees displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes.
8.3. Tax invoices may be provided upon valid request through official channels.
9. DATA PRIVACY & RETENTION
9.1. User data is collected solely for verification and test administration.
9.2. All personal data is encrypted.
9.3. Test responses are automatically deleted after evaluation.
9.4. Users may request data deletion via help@exaknowva.in.
9.5. Data disclosure occurs only if legally required.
10. COMMUNICATION POLICY
10.1. Official communication occurs only through platform notifications and registered emails.
10.2. No WhatsApp, unsolicited calls, or social media communication is used.
10.3. Verification calls may occur only when required.
11. USER RESPONSIBILITIES & VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
Participation is voluntary.
Users are responsible for their decisions, information accuracy, and compliance.
12. SHARE & EARN PROGRAM
All payments are processed through official systems only.
Minimum withdrawal amount is ₹10.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All content belongs to Exa Knowva.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Exa Knowva is not liable for network issues, device failures, third-party fraud, or force majeure events.
15. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL
Complaints are addressed within 30 days.
16. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Services are provided “as is” without guarantees.
17. INDEMNIFICATION
Users agree to indemnify Exa Knowva against misuse or violations.
18. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Exa Knowva is not responsible for third-party services.
19. ACCOUNT TERMINATION
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations or inactivity.
20. SEVERABILITY
Invalid provisions do not affect remaining terms.
21. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the complete agreement.
22. NO WAIVER
Failure to enforce does not constitute waiver.
23. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
Users consent to electronic communication.
24. PLATFORM PURPOSE
Educational assessment only. No guaranteed outcomes.
25. SURVIVAL
Key clauses survive termination.
26. MODIFICATION OF TERMS
Terms may be updated periodically.
27. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
Governed by Indian law.
